Garden Bars

A garden bar where the evening carries on

The match is on. The drinks are close by. There is room to settle in without taking over the living room.

We build insulated garden rooms you can make into your own bar, with the layout designed around how you like to host. Every building is made to measure in our Shropshire workshop and delivered and fitted by our own team.

Garden Rooms with PIR insulation and electrics included. Signature Garden Rooms with foundation supply and installation included too.

Choosing your range

Choose the room, then make the bar your own

The building is the starting point. Your counter, appliances and seating give it its character, so plan those alongside the room rather than squeezing them in afterwards.

PIR insulation, electrics and laminate flooring are included in our Garden Rooms range. Choose the layout and available finishes, then discuss options such as heating or a covered area outside. Foundation supply and installation are optional.

Signature: more of the building project included

Signature is our premium turnkey building range, with SIP construction, electrics and foundation supply and installation included. We agree the layout and finish around your brief. Bar cabinetry, drinks equipment and furniture need to be itemised separately if they form part of your project.

Leave room on both sides of the counter

Start with where people will sit and how they will move through the room. Allow for stools pulled out from the counter, the route to the door and enough space to open the fridge without moving a guest.

A straight counter along one wall may leave more room for a sofa. A corner arrangement can separate serving from sitting. Sketch the furniture into the plan before deciding on the outside dimensions.

If you want a television, position it so people can see from the seats you will actually use. A clear screen wall is often more useful than an extra window in the wrong place.

Plan the doors around the garden

Think about the route from the house and where guests will enter. An opening towards the patio can make sense for summer evenings, while a more enclosed side may be useful for storage or a screen.

Door choices depend on the range and design. Bi-fold and sliding doors are optional on Garden Rooms and Signature, so compare the available openings with the furniture layout.

Put the electrical details in the brief

Tell us which appliances you intend to use and where they will sit. Include a drinks fridge, television and any other powered equipment, alongside the room's lighting and heating.

The internal electrical package is included on Garden Rooms and Signature. Specialist bar equipment should have its requirements checked before the layout is finalised. Connection of the garden room to the main property electrical supply is not included unless expressly stated within the quotation. This work can be quoted separately if required, subject to a site survey and the requirements of our electrical contractor.

A dry bar can keep serving and storage simple. If a sink or toilet is essential, raise it at the start rather than assuming plumbing comes with the room.

Make the room work after summer

An evening in the garden should not depend entirely on the forecast. Our Garden Rooms range includes PIR insulation, with heating and air conditioning available as options.

Discuss how many people you expect to host, the glazing you want and when you will use the room. Those choices help shape a sensible comfort brief. For music or late-night television, talk to us about sound requirements too; thermal insulation is not a soundproofing guarantee.

Common questions

Garden bar questions

Does the price include a fitted bar?

The starting price is for the building range. A counter, cabinets, drinks fridge and seating should be treated as separate fit-out items unless they are expressly included in your quote. Share your full brief so you can budget for the finished space.

Can I add a sink or toilet?

Tell us before choosing the building. A sink or toilet is not included in a Garden Room or Signature bar, but you can ask us about a kitchenette or WC and we quote it on the call. We will discuss the appropriate route for your requirements.

Can a garden bar double as a cinema?

It can be planned for both, but work out the screen position, seating and light control first. Our Garden Cinemas page covers those decisions in more detail. Leave enough room to use the bar without blocking the view.

Is the foundation included?

Foundation supply and installation are optional on Garden Rooms and included on Signature. Site conditions and the agreed scope still need to be checked for your project.

Will music stay inside the room?

We cannot promise that from the standard specification. Tell us about the sound system, expected volume and proximity to neighbours. Acoustic panelling is an optional feature, but it does not establish how much sound will be contained by the completed building.

Is connection to the house electricity supply included?

Connection of the garden room to the main property electrical supply is not included unless expressly stated within the quotation. This work can be quoted separately if required, subject to a site survey and the requirements of our electrical contractor.
