Composite
Composite garden rooms: the low-upkeep exterior
A composite garden room keeps its colour without the yearly paint that timber needs. The boards are a wood and polymer blend, so the outside of your office, summer house or garden building stays the shade you chose, and a wash down is the only care it asks for.
Composite is available on every Noah range: composite garden buildings for storage and workshops, composite summer houses and offices in the Garden Rooms range, and Signature, all round or on selected walls. Bring us the colour and profile you like and we will confirm it for your building and quotation.

Your colour, without repainting
Composite cladding does not need painting, staining or oiling. It is a low-upkeep option for a garden office or room you want to enjoy without adding regular exterior decorating to the list.
The configurator offers light grey, charcoal and brown composite finishes. Compare samples with your chosen door frames before settling on the combination.

Choosing your range
Composite garden buildings, summer houses and offices
Composite cladding is listed as a choice for Garden Buildings, Garden Pods, Garden Rooms, Signature and Granny Annexes.
Its availability across the range does not mean that every design or colour is available on every building. Confirm the product, elevations and price in your quotation.
How composite compares
Is composite cladding right for your garden room?
Each of our claddings has its own strengths. Choose what to compare, and see how composite sits alongside the others, so you can pick the finish that suits your garden, your budget and the care you have in mind.
We also offer brick effect and the Grey SIP finish. Compare all seven claddings.

Specification & options
Simple cleaning, less upkeep
An occasional wash helps keep the boards looking their best. There is no recurring paint or oil treatment to maintain, unlike ordinary timber cladding.
Use the recommended cleaning method and leave access around the building for routine checks. Low-maintenance cladding does not remove the need to care for doors, gutters and the rest of the room.
Specification & options
A coordinated finish around the room
Composite provides a consistent colour and profile across the chosen elevations. Pair it with matching frames for a simple exterior, or use it alongside a contrasting feature finish.
Cladding is the outer finish. You can choose composite across all five ranges while keeping the structure and insulation appropriate to the room you need.

Is composite included with Garden Rooms?
Yes. Our starting price for Garden Rooms includes charcoal composite cladding, the most popular choice on the range. You can change the colour, or choose another cladding, in the configurator and see the price update as you go.
Is composite maintenance free?
Yes. Composite and slatted composite never need painting, staining or oiling. An occasional wash keeps them looking their best.
Is the whole building made from composite?
This page describes the exterior cladding. The structure, insulation and interior specification depend on the range you choose.
Can I choose a slatted composite look?
Yes. Noah’s slatted cladding is composite and is available on Garden Rooms, Signature and Granny Annexes. It gives a vertical profile with the same no-paint, no-oil upkeep as our standard composite boards.
